ECHO - The European Cities of Historical Organs network

ECHO, European Cities of Historical Organs, is an organisation bringing together nine cities in nine countries, each of which shares a heritage of historical organs.

Each city has committed to the construction and restoration of these instruments, in addition to instigating programmes to informing the public about and promote organ music.
ECHO unites its members to work on communal projects, including the European Organ Festival, organ concerts, and books and recordings. ECHO also encourages the creation of new repertoire for these instruments.
The members of ECHO are : Alkmaar (Netherlands), Brussels (Belgium), Freiberg (Germany), Fribourg(Switzerland), Innsbruck (Austria), Lisbon (Portugal), Treviso (Italy),Trondheim (Norway) and Toulouse (France).
