Gabriel Bestion de Camboulas

Gabriel Bestion Camboulas began his organ studies at the National Conservatory of Angers in Denis Bordage’s class, and at the Conservatory of Nantes, with Michel Bourcier. He then joined the class of François-Henri Houbart at the Conservatory of Rueil-Malmaison in 2008. In 2012, he received his Master of Organ at the Superior National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Lyon (CNSMDL). His teachers were François Espinasse and Liesbeth Schlumberger for interpretation and François-Henri Hourbart and Gabriel Marghieri for improvisation. .

Gabriel performs regularly in France and abroad for solo recitals, as well as with various orchestras (Paul Kuentz). He performs with various choirs (Luce del Canto, Paris), and chamber music with trompet. Gabriel Bestion Camboulas won the International Grand Prix for Organ Jean-Louis Florentz, at the French Academy of Fine Arts in Angers, in May 2008.

He is titular organist of Saint-Teresa at Villeurbanne and also co-titular of Saint-Christophe de Javel at Paris. He has created several organ and dance works with the Organidanse Company.
