Kaori Sakai

Kaori Sakai studied organ in class Kinue Aota of Miyagi Gakuin Women’s university in Japan from 2003 to 2009. During her student years she gave regular concerts and participated in master-classes with Lorenzo Ghielmi and Zigmond Szathmary. She has come to improve in Europe with Michel Bouvard and Jan Willem Jansen for the organ at the Conservatoire Rayonnement Regional de Toulouse where she was awarded the 1st Prize for organ in June 2011. She studies harpsichord in the latter class , but also in that of pianoforte Yasuko Bouvard. Now she is studying in the Superior Institute of Art of Toulouse (formerly named CESMD) in the organ class.

As a soloist she has been involved in many musical events in France, including Déjeuner d’orgue at Toulouse, the International Festival Toulouse les Orgues, Festi Orgues at Saint-Jean de Luz and concerts in Foix, Auterive and Laroque on Olmes.
