Louis-Noël Bestion de Camboulas

Born in 1989, Louis -Noël Bestion Camboulas studied organ, harpsichord, chamber music and direction, at the Conservatoires Supérieursin Lyon and Paris, receiving instruction of Michel Bourcier, Jean-Baptiste Robin, François Espinasse, Yves Rechsteiner, Olivier Baumont and Blandine Rannou. He had the opportunity to work with renowned teachers such different as Jan-Willem Jansen, Louis Robilliard, Wolfgang Zerer.

He has won several national and international competitions : Grand Prix d’orgue Jean- Louis Florentz of Académie des Beaux-Arts in 2009 and 1st Prize at the Gottfried Silbermann Organ Competition of Freiberg (Germany) in 2011. In 2013 he received the 1st Prize in the prestigious organ International Competition Xavier Darasse in Toulouse.

It creates in 2010 the baroque ensemble Les Surprises, with whom he recorded for the label Ambronay Editions in 2013. Happened with it in France, Belgium, Germany and Italy. He has worked with conductors such as Hervé Niquet, Arie Van Beck, Roberto Forés Veses. He plays as a soloist in Paris, Lyon, Germany, Italy...
