Ensemble vocal In Nomine
The vocal ensemble In Nomine dedicates itself mainly to the performance of early music. This choir has a membership of around twenty experienced amateur singers, who, thanks to their vocal talent and musical knowledge, can tackle a repertoire of demanding and rarely performed music.
Accompanied by a professional continuo – theorbo, viola da gamba, serpent, organ – the ensemble is directed by Didier Borzeix. He is a long-time performer of early music, be it medieval or baroque. As a harpsichordist and an organist, he accompanies a number of ensembles in the Midi-Pyrenees area.
Since its creation, the In Nomine ensemble has given around thirty concerts. Among them : Jephte by Carissimi, for Le mai de St Pierre des Chartreux De la Sibylle à Zarathoustra, for La Novela 2013 , Johannes Passion by Schütz in March 2013, Les Elemens by Féry Rebel, as well as choirs by Rameau for La Novela 2014, Le Reniement de St Pierre by Charpentier in March 2015. He has also performed for the Festival de Toulouse les Orgues 2011 and for Passe ton Bach 2012
