Julie Pinsonneault

Julie Pinsonneault holds a Bachelor’s degree in music from McGill University, Montréal (Canada) where she was mentored by John Grew and Hans-Ola Ericsson.
Julie is the first prizewinner of the 2011 Lynnwood Farnam Organ Competition. She also took part in the 2013 Mikael Tariverdiev Organ Competition in Kaliningrad, Russia where she was awarded the ’Vera Tariverdieva’ prize, which was offered for the favorite performance of the competition.
Julie is currently doing her Master’s degree under the guidance of Michel Bouvard and Jan Willem Jansen (organ) and Yasuko Bouvard (harpsichord). In 2016 she will play the complete Livre du St-Sacrement by Olivier Messiaen in Toulouse, while completing a related master’s thesis.
