Olivier Wyrwas

Olivier Wyrwas was born in 1991 in Moselle. He began his musical studies at the Metz conservatoire. Thanks to Norbert Pétry, he discovered early music and his career certainly reflects the discovery of the organ of the Metz Saint-Etienne cathedral. He perfected his skills in the Schola Cantorum in Basel (Switzerland) at organ, harpsichord, basso continuo and improvisation. Wolfgang Zerer, Lorenzo Ghielmi, Jörg-Andreas Bötticher, Andrea Marcon, Jesper Christensen and Dirck Börner impacted its studies within which he obtained two Master’s degrees. Besides recitals, some of which were recorded by France Musique, he is used to play chamber music and has met several groups among which the Chapel Rhenish. Olivier Wyrwas is currently the organist of the Saint Jean and Saint Etienne of Mulhouse temples.
