Adeline Cartier

Adeline Cartier started her musical studies by way of the piano in 2000 in Châtellerault, her birthplace. In 2004 she took up the harpsichord because of her budding love for baroque music and continued her studies in the field from 2011 to 2013 under Michèle Dévérité, Sébastien Wonner, Marie-Anne Pottier and Pierre-Alain Braye-Weppe in Orsay and Tours.

From 2013 onwards, she has been training with Yves Rechsteiner and Jean-Marc Aymes at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Lyon. Additionally, she is fond of playing other keyboard instruments - such as clavichord, baroque organ and pianoforte. In the past, she has enjoyed master classes with Pierre Hantaï, Bertrand Cuiller, Freddy Eichelberger, Maude Gratton and Aline Zylberajch, while also having had the opportunity to play under the direction of Michel Radulescu and Ton Koopmann.

With the Traverso player Loréline Champ she forms the duo “Felice”. Moreover, Adeline enjoys to engage in free improvisation with other musicians.
