Sonia Rodriguez

Sonia Rodriguez starts the violin with Michel Raynaud in Pamiers.
She is admitted in 2004 to the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional of Toulouse in the class of Chantal Crenne, then with Irina Medvedeva, where she wins her violin award in 2008 and the same in chamber music in 2009.

She continues her advanced studies at the Centre d’Études Supérieures de Musique et de Danse of Toulouse and the Université du Mirail obtaining a DNSPM and a diploma of musicology.

Discovering over the years a particular interest in orchestral play, in 2012 she joins the Haute École de Musique in Geneva for a Master in Orchestra in the class of Stefan Muhmenthaler.

Sonia Rodriguez is regularly invited to play with orchestras such as, the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire and the Chamber Orchestra of Fribourg (Switzerland)
