Andreas Linos began studying the viola da gamba at the CNR of Boulogne-Billancourt. He obtained a first prize in 2006. Since then, he has led a career of a chamber-music player by playing within several groups, such as Le Baroque Nomade, La Camera Delle Lacrime, L’Acheron, Latinitas nostra etc. with whom he recorded about ten discs.
Along with his musical studies, he studied the violin making in the Bernard Prunier’s workshop. He has been passionate by the alchemy between music and visual arts and developed a keen interest for the baroque machinery. He tried to incorporate scenographic elements and to create dramaturgic links through musical events. He created several concerts-shows, such as Il Bagatto for the festival Sinfonia in Périgord in 2006, Jeux de cour, jeux de coudes for the festival of Essaouira in 2007, Le Consort Project and Florimène in The Archipel from 2008 to 2010, Espejos and Kings and Queens in 2012 in Mexico City. In 2012 he signed for the direction, the scenery and the suits of Vénus et Adonis by John Blow. In 2014 he produced Pellegrina in the Opera of Dijon.
