Hervé Roblès

Hervé Roblès began playing the drum on his own, and a few years later, he was taught by Jean-Marc Lajudie, a world-known drummer. Very early, he played in various trainings, firstly varieties, blues, then turned to the jazz (New Orleans, swing). He integrated the ORJL (regional orchestra of jazz of Limousin) for a few years, the ORFunk (regional orchestra of funk), as well as several combo jazz: trio, quartet ... At the same time, he has taught the drum and since 2000, he has worked at the Conservatory of Brive La Gaillarde. Within this institution, he met Charles Balayer and Guy Barbouti. This meeting launched the idea of "Chez Barbaro", a quartet of jazz with a Hammond organ. They have played in many concert and festivals (first part by Maurice Vander and by Christian Escoudé…)
