L’Orchestre Baroque les Passions
Created in Toulouse by the recorder player Jean-Marc Andrieu in 1986, the Baroque Orchestra Les Passions is an musical ensemble of variable geometry, specialising in the use of period instruments and techniques. Its repetory is vast, ranging from an intimate formation to a grand oratorio. It enjoys associating music with cinema, theatre, literature, dance and even culinary art.
It is invited to participate in prestigious music festivals and theatres in France and abroad.
For its 30th anniversary, it has initiated the organization of concerts, exhibitions and colloquials on the theme of Music of the South in Toulouse and the surrounding region.
Its discography has been enriched by the addition of a CD dedicated to Antoine-Esprit Blanchard which was recorded during the Festival of Radio France in Montepellier 2016.
