Chœur Dulci Jubilo

Dulci Jubilo was founded in early 2013 at the initiative of Christopher Gibert, organist, choirmaster and composer of the Toulouse region.

As its name suggests, it is with a "sweet joy" that this group of friends gather to sing in chorus masterpieces from the sixteenth century to the present day. From Bach Passions, Buxtehude and Lully motets to Benjamin Britten’s contemporary polyphonies, Francis Poulenc and John Rutter’s lightness, they offer the public an unexpected journey through various genres and eras.

This eclecticism is reinforced by the musical experience of each singer, coming from different musical universes, but sharing this same passion for singing.

The ensemble multiplies its apparitions, as well as its collaborations with renowned artists. In particular, it had the honor of performing with the Toulouse Chamber Orchestra conducted by Gilles Colliard and Thomas Ospital, titular organist at the Saint-Eustache church and Radio France in Paris for the creation of Christophe’s Stabat Mater Gibert during the Tenth Festival of Sacred Music of Rocamadour.
