Ronaldo Steiner

Baritone Ronaldo Steiner was born in Boston and raised in Brazil. He earned a bachelor of music degree at the Santa Catarina State University, as well as masterdegrees at the University of Georgia and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg.

Ronaldo Steiner is very active both as an operatic and as a concert singer. On the opera stages he has performed over 20 roles, such as the title role in Mozarts “Don Giovanni”, Count Almaviva in Mozart´s “Le Nozze di Figaro”, Papageno in Mozarts “The Magic Flute”, Escamillo in Bizets “Carmen” and Figaro in Rossinis “The Barber from Seville”. His concert repertoire covers the most representative works from Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Campra, Fauré, Gounod, Händel, Mendelssohn, Monteverdi, Rossini and Schubert, among many others.

Highlights from the 2016 season include productions at the Old Opera Frankfurt, the Mozart Festival in Würzburg and the Brisbane Baroque Festival, as well as concerts in Brazil, Slovakia, Poland and China. In the 2017 season, he can bee seen at the Kiel Opera House, as well as in concerts in France, Germany and South Korea.
