Paul Goussot

Paul Goussot, a versatile musician, who has always tried to diversify his job as an artist by specializing in the organ, the harpsichord and in improvisation.
Titular of the Dom Bedos organ at St-Croix in Bordeaux, he has succeeded Marie-Claire Alain, Susan Landale and François-Henri Houbart at the Rueil-Malmaison Conservatory.
Born in 1984 in Bordeaux, he studied at the Paris Conservatory where he gained the most important distinctions : prize winner of international competitions of Bruges, Luxembourg, St-Albans, Haarlem. He’s invited in Europe and USA, and he performed with artists such as Christian Ivaldi, Olivier Latry, or Benjamin Lazar. His improvisational skills play an essential role in his artistic pursuits.

He has been invited to teach a masterclasse in improvisation in the Paris Conservatory. His passion for silent movies leads him to accompany several screenings in the Musée d’Orsay. He also won a scholarship of the Meyer Foundation and the Adami.
